A little south of Florence, nestled in the hills along the Arno River lies the vineyards of @fattoriadisammontana , a fourth generation family operated farm that practices organic and biodynamic farming, preserving the traditions and winemaking history of the land.
Grapes stay on skins approx 3 months in large terracotta amphora’s, go to press, and then back into the amphora for more ageing. 100% best quality Trebbiano grapes.
Why do I love this wine?? - a lotta texture going on here, it’s rich but very balanced because of the perfect zip of acidity, and when you stick your nose in the glass it magically transports me to another place where orange peel and caramel come together to make all of my distant Tuscan travels come true......
